That's right I am 20 weeks! We are half way to having a baby. It has been a a quick 20 weeks and mostly really good. I think that as I am beginning my downhill trod I am starting to be more emotional, forgetful, and ROUND, lol.
Unfortunately I was VERY sick last week, eww. But I am all better now. We got to see the baby at our big ultrasound and got our confirmation today that it is healthy (and suspectively happy.) There were a couple days that Gribble didn't move around to much but as soon as s/he recuperated it has been wiggle time! I can't beleive how much Gribble moves these days. Too bad that James is never around when it makes big moves or James can't feel the small rolls and wiggles.
I had a regular check up today and the NP let us know everything is going well :) Then she sprung a surprise vaccination on me :( have I mentioned how much I don't like needles. Yay for only having one more appointment with needles.
I feel like I should treat myself to something fun for since I have made it, in good spirit, this far...or maybe just because. In any case I found a bag that I really love and that would be perfect for a diaper bag. I am going to sleep on it ;)
Until next time :)

Baby Bump!
I finally look prego! James told me last week that he thought I had an obvious bump, then the other day I had my firt unsolicited belly touch (by someone I really don't know), and then earlier this week one of my co workers told me I was "showing". And even though I have been noticing a little bit more of a tummy over the past couple of weeks, I finally don't feel fat :)
I started school about 2 weeks ago and it looks like it will be a pretty normal semester. Too bad I go to school for 6.5 hours on Mondays! luckily Wednesday I only have one class before work. Anyone interested in accompanying a prego lady to the SFMOMA or the DeYoung let me know. I need to take Gribble to the city sometime before the end of Oct. to see some American Art ( I guess we need to see some Asian stuff too but I haven't decided what yet???)
In more exciting news, on the Monday that I started school, James put all of the floor into Gribble's room:) I came home to such a wonderful surprise. Now he is chipping away at the trim, installing a new cieling fan, and painting the cieling (he did most of that yesterday). I have to get to work on picking out fabric to ask my gramma "pretty please" to make me curtains out of.
We are having some issues getting our crib... Babies R Us is holding it hostage :( Apparently 2 weeks after my mom put it on layaway all cribs were "recalled" until a rep. from the company that makes them goes out to the stores to retro-fit drop side cribs. The Carters rep has not been out to the store, however, our crib is NOT a dropside crib. Therefore it shouldn't need to be retro-fitted for anything, right??? Too bad Babies R Us doesn't see it that way and they won't let us have it...
Before I wrap things up I should let everyone know that Gribble has become very active! I can feel him/her wriggling around a lot now, it's pretty exciting and I can't wait until they are big enough for other people to feel too. Our "BIG" ultrasound is next week, the one where we can find out the sex, but like I have said we are keeping Gribbles gender a surprise. I am super excited to get to see him/her agian!
I will write again after our appointment :D
